hahahahhaa

total awesomes... one less than 10 because strongbad still does it better :)

Hell yeah.
I could never compete with him.

nice sounds and rhythm

i can barely make out the drums and everything is mudded so it is hard to hear the individual bits (the loder it is, the mor indistiguishable each part sounds, until it just sounds like a loud buzzy sound)... also (i am a genre nazi, sorry, esp. when people classify), this ain't trance, maybe electro or old-skool

well, it not trance... but...

it's not bad for an old-skool style rave/synthpop song. reminds me of the stuff i used to listen to in the early 90's. great arrangement and decent mix and enjoyable to listen to. a bit rough around the edges in the quality of sound (i gather you probably lowered the mp3 quality to maybe get almost 5 minutes of music in). still, pretty good. certainly not trance (almost all trance has a major element of 4-on-the-floor beat)

certainly not as bad as the current score says...

i mean, i think some mixing work could be used to even out some of the sounds and a bit mroe variation. it's almost like a alt-hip-hop-r-and-b-electro fusion. i lreally like the basic beat and rhythm, just needs some tightening up. i like the ideas and i love the muted pad hits. not the best, but certainly *not* the 1.03 as it was when i scored it. keep at it!

it's ok

a bit short and the laid-back meandering was kinda cool. the only thing even really techno-ish in the song was the 303 melody near the end, which ruined the mood of the song for me, but that's personal taste.

not bad

-nice mix-down
-a bit repetitive - that's trance for ya tho ;)
-i like the slight house beat
-the kiddie sounding crash in the 2/3rds point of the song, sounds out of place and a bit overused, luckily only lasts for a bit
-i like the lead, epic sounding

doesn't remind me much of futurama

(except for the voice samples) but the song is OK, the samples seemed kinda like cheap/forced placement. still, i think the music itself has potential. also, i have no idea what KAKASHIKAGE's problem is... some people are that way.

i'm not a guitar fan, but...

this is one of the few guitar-sounding tracks here that sound pretty damn good. and without an accompanyment, i say... damn good. are you not playing guitar anymore? (i take from your comments that you are not anymore, or maybe i understood that wrong?)

Forest-of-Grey responds:

I just worded it the wrong way, I still play.

trying to redefine happy hardcore a bit, eh? ;)

...usually you don't get those slow bits, at least not from the classic stuff i listened to years ago (it was relentless happy beats). not my thing these days, but i cannot deny talent when i hear it. a great mix and a great arrangement. you know how to put the beat together and a melody that sticks in the head. either way, regardless of what i *usually* like, great damn job!

nice tune

i love the melodies, the pads, the voice of people... i wan't a big fan of the drums. however, for the context of the song, i can see why it would go down that way (too tinny for my tastes, but making them too punchy could ruin the ambiance of the song - so, the drumks are "ok"). i love how it just kinda journeys around in your mind on a little mental roadtrip of sounds.
